Pennine League - 18/04/2010 - Oisins
 
After a six week lay off Cú Chulainns played their second game of the Pennine league at Beeston on Sunday the 18th against Oisins of Manchester. Despite the long lay off Cú Chulainns manage to make it two wins out of two.
 
1st Half
 
Paul Mc Govern got CC of to a good start with an early score followed by a good move and a Dave O Mahoney goal. Oisins moved up the field and scored a point from play and a free. A Great battle was taking place between oisin inside forwards and Sean Twohig and Padriag Mc Closkey. CC hit four wides in a row then scored two more points from play.
Oisins were starting to build real pressure and scored 2 unanswered frees to leave it 1.3 to 4 points at half time.
 
2nd Half

Paul Mc Govern started the second half as he did the first with a point from play. Chris O Kane and Willie Ryan traded points for CC, with the Newcastle team pushing through some very resistant Oisins pressure. Jonny Scales and Chris Laird added further points for CC while Dave O'Mahoney added another goal. Making it 2.8 to 4 points. Oisins came right back with two points and missed two opportunities. Terry Gallagher added a further point from a free to make it 2.9 to 0.6 points.
